Similar to Hard Series, the X-Hard Series are treated only with sandpaper after hammering. However, the hammering on these cymbals is much heavier and distinct, giving the sound an added dose of lively trashiness.
Very complex in their nature, the X-Hard are at home in diverse situations, from modern jazz to extreme metal – anything that requires a progressive approach to sound characteristics.
